The structure at Knox Wesleyan is designed to meet the need at the point of need in situations which arise within the setting of the family model. We strive to prepare each client for the future, teaching the skills they need at the present time, and will need in the future to become responsible and productive members of society.

Encouragement to succeed is a priority at Knox Wesleyan, and all programs are designed to offer encouragement and stimulate the client to achieve.  We adhere to the win-win situation, and encourage the client to apply the win-win principle in his dealing with others.

Knox Wesleyan  believes it is possible to eliminate negative behavior patterns of its clients by having them learn alternative techniques from trained program staff. By proper role modeling, the staff  accomplishes the program’s purpose by teaching the client to resolve conflict, strengthen the client’s ability to cope with his environment, influence his identity, morals, and values, and help make him a productive part of society.
